The Email Log provides a log of email activity. The log shows the email event date and time, the email event, the email recipient, the email address and an email reference. If the email is unable to be delivered the log will display a reason indicating the problem with the email.
The email events are Processed, indicating that the email has been transferred to SendGrid, the email service used to deliver the emails, Delivered, indicating the SendGrid has delivered the email to the recipient and Open, indicating that the recipient has clicked on the email and returned an open acknowledgment. Note, that some email services are configured not to return open acknowledgments, so an email may have been received and opened by the recipient but the open acknowledgment has not been provided by the recipient's email service.
Occasionly a Bounce email event is received. This indicates that SendGrid has previously not been able to deliver an email to the address provided. In this case, the offending email address is added to a bounced list. SendGrid will not attempt to send an email to an address that appears on the bounced list. If you confirm that the recipient's address is correct, please advise Wilmat so the address can be removed from SendGrid's bounced list.
